There was about five days break after mid semester exam and we have been spent it as wise as we could. We planned for touring by motorcyle to my friend\\\’s house, Adhi in Cilacap City, around 200 Km away from Yogyakarta, fascinating was it. We rode to Cilacap using my motorcycle, Honda Revo 110, a cub type, not comfortable for a long ride but I didn\\\’t had any other option so let\\\’s rock to Cilacap.
We started our journey at 5 pm. The route we took was through Wates, Purworejo, Kebumen and end up in Cilacap City. On the road, we facing some handicaps like rain that poured all the time, bumpy road and my motorcyle headlamp that not bright enough, so we must ride very careful. And finally we touchdown in Cilacap at 11 pm.
The next day, we went to my friend\\\’s dorm, they are Dheny and Mario. They were doing an internship in one of the companies there at that moment. In the afternoon we hanging out on Teluk Penyu Beach. Just like the other near-city beach, Teluk Penyu Beach is full of people doing their activities like fishing, playing football, enjoying the view, jogging or just hanging out with their friends. After that, we went to Alun-alun. My first glance in Cilacap, this city was quite deserted, not like Semarang or Surabaya. Even after 8 pm the traffic was almost empty.
The next day, after Jummah Prayer. Me, Adhi and Dheny went to Ali\\\’s house, 45 Km away from Cilacap City. Ali\\\’s house is located on the top of the hill and surrounding by gardens, tree, like Shire I think. The distance from neighbor house to the other house is quite far. The village atsmosphere deeply felt.
That nigh we stayed at Ali\\\’s house and planning for next trip which is Curug Cipendok and continued to Baturaden, Purwokerto. Actually, I want to go to the Pangandaran, but after a tough discussion, we decided to going to Purwokerto. For me it\\\’s not a big deal.
So, next morning we were heading to Curug Cipendok in Banyumas, a waterfall with 92 m height and surrounding by forest. The waterfall was realy awesom. The falling water when hit the bottom make a frightening sound. But we can\\\’t get closer to the waterfall because it is too dangerous. After we are done enjoying the waterfall, we continued our journey to Baturaden at Purwokerto. Specifically is Telaga Sunyi or The Silent Pond.
In Teaga Sunyi, we spent our time with swimming in the natural pond. The water is cold and clear. So clear that you can see the buttom of the pond.
After swimming with satisfied feelings, we were going back to the Ali\\\’s house. Relaxing our body and eat dinner, me, Adhi and Dheny going back to Adhi\\\’s house.
The next morning, me, Adhi, Dheny and Adhi\\\’s brother were planning to go to Nusa Kambangan Island. A place which is famous for its prison. But we were not going to the prison, but we were heading to Kalipat Beach. A beach in the south side of the island.
We rode our motorsyle to Teluk Penyu Beach and rent a fisherman\\\’s boat to cross the strait. After we reached the island, we were walking through the thick forest to cross the other side of island. The condition was very tricky because it was rainy and make the path very muddy. It consume about 1.5 hours walking to reach the beach.
The journey at Nusa Kambangan Island was be our last, and after arrived on the coast, our journey in Cilacap was officialy over. The next morning me and Adhi must heading back to Yogyakarta. Dealing with our collage routine.
