Located in Temanggung, Central Java, Mount Sindoro (3,136 masl) is exactly beside of Mount Sumbing (3,371 masl) and Dieng Plateau. The location makes Mount Sindoro has beautiful views from its peak. Especially when the sun rises.
August 2015, we had an opportunity to climb Sindoro and also celebrate Indonesia\\\’s independence day at the peak. Insufficient preparations and a bit courage bring us to the memorable adventure. Mount Sindoro located approximately 90 Km from Yogyakarta and to get there we must went to check point at Sigedang Basecamp to register.
